Where to build our new factory?

cocoa-fruit-factory-Ghana

Ghana is a beautiful country, with lush green forests, a tropical climate, and of course home to our beloved cocoa fruit. It is known for its richness in natural resources and its agricultural products like cocoa. Did you know that Ghana is the second-largest supplier of cocoa beans in the world? So, there’s a lot of potential to seek!

Here you can see our team visiting a land. Is this the perfect spot on which we put our new Koa factory? Things like soil stability, access to water for production, and proximity to farming communities are some of the important factors to consider.

Our first factory is in Assin Akrofuom, Central Region of Ghana,  and our second factory will be built in the Eastern Region. This ramp-up in capacity will allow us to create jobs for an additional 250 people, and cooperate with an additional 10,000 smallholder farmers to increase their income, thanks to upcycling the cocoa fruit. To get an idea on what this upcycling process looks like, check out our video below.
